Motorola has recently unveiled the Edge 60 Stylus, a smartphone that aims to rival the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra while being easy on the wallet. This new offering from Motorola boasts an integrated stylus, a feature shared only with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Additionally, the phone showcases Motorola’s signature sleek design, along with impressive features such as rapid 68W charging and a generous 256GB of storage.

Despite these enticing features, some reservations linger around the phone’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which might raise concerns about performance. However, with a sizable 5,000mAh battery and a camera setup featuring a 50Mp main sensor and a 13Mp ultra-wide lens, the Edge 60 Stylus seems promising in key areas.

Drawing comparisons to its predecessor, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, the Edge 60 Stylus offers a slightly smaller 6.67-inch 120Hz pOLED screen but introduces 15W wireless charging. Notably, the phone continues Motorola’s trend of sturdy build quality, boasting both IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certifications.

One potential drawback is the limited provision of two OS upgrades and three years of security updates. However, considering its competitive pricing, this trade-off might be acceptable for budget-conscious consumers. The Edge 60 Stylus is priced attractively at Rs. 22,999, which translates to around £200 or potentially £279.99 if it reaches Western markets.

In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra commands a significantly higher price tag of £1,249. While the Edge 60 Stylus is currently targeted at the Indian market, its potential availability in the UK or Europe remains uncertain. As enthusiasts eagerly await further updates, the allure of a budget-friendly alternative to premium smartphones like the Galaxy S25 Ultra is indeed appealing.
