The latest leak surrounding the Pixel 10 has tech enthusiasts buzzing with excitement, especially for fans of wireless charging. Google’s upcoming flagship phones might not be revolutionary in every aspect, but one standout feature is the integration of Qi2 magnetized wireless charging, possibly under the new ‘Pixelsnap’ moniker.

Renowned leaker Evan Blass, known as @evleaks, has shared images of the Pixel 10 range that hint at this cutting-edge feature. One image showcases the phone with Google’s official case, while the other reveals the Pixel 10 in a striking Indigo color, sans case, with an Apple MagSafe-like charger adhered to its back.

It’s worth noting that full Qi2 support is a rarity in the Android realm, with only the mid-range HMD Skyline fully embracing this technology upon its late 2024 release. Google’s embrace of Qi2 in the Pixel 10 lineup could set a new standard in the industry, potentially prompting other manufacturers to follow suit.

The official unveiling of the Pixel 10 is scheduled for August 10 at a Made by Google event. With multiple leaks shedding light on its specs and design, including the array of vibrant colors it will be available in, anticipation is running high. The leaked Indigo variant, while impressive, is not even the most favored among the seven hues set to debut.

As the tech world eagerly awaits Google’s official announcement, the integration of Qi2 technology in the Pixel 10 is poised to be a game-changer, offering users a seamless and efficient wireless charging experience. Stay tuned for more updates as the Pixel 10 launch date draws near.
