If this Galaxy Z Flip FE price leak is true, I don’t understand who’d buy it

The recent leak of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE pricing has left many scratching their heads. With a starting price of around £887 for the 128GB model and £949 for the 256GB version, it seems a bit steep, especially considering the previous Galaxy Z Flip 6 was priced at £999.

While the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE does offer a saving compared to its higher-end counterpart, reports suggest it might essentially be a rebranded Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 with a less powerful Exynos 2400 processor. In light of this, opting for a discounted Flip 6 deal might be a wiser choice.

For instance, the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s 256GB model was recently available brand new on Amazon for £899, offering similar features at a lower cost. Additionally, Motorola’s Razr 60, a more affordable flip phone priced at just £800, presents a compelling alternative in the market.

As we await Samsung’s official pricing and detailed specifications for the new Galaxy Z Flip series, the value proposition of the Flip 7 FE remains under scrutiny. At this point, potential buyers might find better value and performance by considering other options available in the market.
